How many visits, how long
The consultation takes about 30 minutes. Sample timings for treatment are 12 to 24 months for metal braces and 6 to 18 months for clear aligners. Dr Kabir will give you an estimate for your own teeth. He is at the clinic on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
What happens, step by step

Dr Kabir checks your teeth, gums and bite, and takes X-rays or photos if needed.

He explains the options: metal braces or clear aligners, and what each involves.

You get a written estimate and a rough timeline before you decide.

If you go ahead, the braces are fitted or aligners are made for you.

Regular visits follow to check progress and adjust: monthly for braces, every 6 to 8 weeks for clear aligners.

After treatment you'll be given a retainer to help keep your teeth in place.
Aftercare
- With braces, avoid very hard and sticky food, and brush carefully around the brackets after every meal.
- Aligners are worn as directed, taken out to eat and drink anything but water, and cleaned every day.
- Keep every visit. Missed visits can make treatment longer.

Am I too old for braces?
Braces and aligners can be used at many ages. Dr Kabir will check your teeth and gums at the consultation and tell you what is suitable.
How long will treatment take?
Sample timings are 12 to 24 months for metal braces and 6 to 18 months for clear aligners. Dr Kabir will give you an estimate for your own teeth after the consultation.
How often are the visits?
